About
I have worked as a visual artist since the mid 90s. In my role of 26 years as professional graphic designer and illustrator. In evening classes as art teacher.
I have dabbled in one-continuous line since 1993. I tried it out during a life drawing session and I never quite came back from this experience. I think my art truly found it’s place when I started working exclusively in this approach, from 2010. Having meditated since the early 90s, it seems to reflect best how I perceive the world around me - inherently connected and filled with an invisible energy and purpose. The process is both very intuitive and controlled. The intuition let’s the line jump places and the trained eye doesn’t let it stray. I work without visual guides on the paper and do not use pencil or erasers. The piece must find it’s own balance. This process can be intimidating in it’s Zen-like immediacy. It’s a wonderful way of working, in tune with what is. Watercolours add depth and further vibrancy.
I much hope you will enjoy the collection of work on these pages. And do drop me a line for any commissions you might have in mind. I am also available for drawings at events or in any possible setting. And do not forget to follow me on Instagram - it’s great to be connected.
